BETAFPV Meteor65 Pro II Brushless Whoop Frame

The BETAFPV Meteor65 Pro II Brushless Whoop Frame is a redesigned 70mm frame for compact 1S FPV builds. It combines a larger battery compartment, strengthened polypropylene construction and refined propeller ducts with support for both lightweight analogue equipment and modern HD systems such as the DJI O4 Air Unit.

Compared with the previous Meteor65 Pro frame, the Pro II increases the wheelbase from 66mm to 70mm and expands the battery slot to suit higher-capacity 1S batteries. The result is a more stable and versatile platform for pilots who want longer flight times or a dependable replacement frame for their Meteor65 Pro II.

A larger 70mm Meteor65 platform

Although it carries the Meteor65 name, the Pro II has a true 70mm diagonal motor-to-motor wheelbase. This is larger than the 66mm wheelbase of the previous Meteor65 Pro frame and gives builders additional room for batteries and modern video equipment.

The frame measures approximately 91.4 x 91.4 x 15.4mm and supports standard 26 x 26mm whoop-format flight controllers.

Reworked structure and propeller ducts

The Meteor65 Pro II uses five reinforced arm supports rather than the six found on the previous frame. Its 37mm ducts have also been reduced to 4.5mm in height. These revisions give the propellers a clearer working area while maintaining the protection expected from a fully ducted micro whoop.

At 4.60g, the Pro II is heavier than the previous 3.20g Meteor65 Pro frame. That additional material supports the larger 70mm layout, widened battery compartment and more rigid structure required by heavier HD configurations.

Expanded battery compartment

The battery opening has grown from approximately 11.6 x 6mm to 16.1 x 6.3mm. This allows the frame to carry the recommended LAVA II 1S 480mAh battery and helps provide the endurance needed by power-hungry HD video equipment.

Always check the physical dimensions of third-party batteries before purchase. Capacity alone does not guarantee that a battery will fit the frame correctly.

Designed for cleaner HD footage

Four shock-absorbing canopy mounting holes allow the frame to work with the BETAFPV Canopy II for the DJI O4 Air Unit. This mounting arrangement is designed to help isolate the camera and video system from motor and frame vibration.

Correct motor installation, balanced propellers and suitable flight-controller filtering remain important when building an HD whoop.
